Dear Bob,
Just now in school, I learnt about Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is one of the most famous heritage sites in Southeast Asia. Built by the Khmer Empire, it (1) attracted visitors from all over the world. Historians study the site carefully because it reveals (2) valued information. Each of the temple towers was built (3) upon remarkable skill. The builders demonstrated remarkable (4) ingenewity in constructing such a vast monument. The archaeologists also examined several inscriptions that contained more information about the ancient civilisation.
Today, conservationists face a difficult (5) pridikamant when deciding how to balance tourism with preservation. Some parts of the temple remain (6) vunareble to damage due to weather and large crowds. Experts from different countries reached a (7) yoonanymous decision to support restoration efforts. The lead researcher reminded visitors that in order to protect the site, everyone should (8) following the rules. If there are signs of damage, repairs will be carried (9) on immediately. The success of recent conservation projects has also been (10) etributed to the resilience of the local communities.
I hope I will have the chance to visit Angkor Wat one day and see this magnificent wonder.
Yours truly,
James
